From my first meeting with Corey from CWB Construction I knew that Corey was who I wanted to build my new home. Corey was open and honest and had the ability to take on my high end build. He still had relationships with passed clients who were more than happy for me to be allowed into their home for Corey to show me his work. That speaks for itself. Corey and his team were polite professional with a can-do attitude to get the best possible outcome for my build. Communication was so easy throughout the entire build and still is to this day. If you are after an open honest reliable builder where nothing is a problem then Corey and his team at CWB Construction are the team for your job.

As an architectural designer I'd worked with Corey and his team before, so when we needed a builder for our townhouse project I was confident CWB would be up to the task.
Corey had two jobs on the go so Steve and Ollie were on our site; they are super quality-conscious and very good at early communication, whether it was checking on how we wanted details done or overseeing the quality of both their work and all the other sub-trades, while Corey was always available for oversight and advice.
Covid-19 lockdowns and material delivery problems added another level of complexity and disruption to our project, but I have to give credit to the CWB team who stayed positive, flexible and accommodating to ensure we got a great result in the end. Our thanks to everyone involved!

We chose CWB construction to build an attached minor dwelling and double garage with an upper floor lounge and internal stair case. The build was not straight forward and required a lot of engineering and excavation work. Corey and his team were a dream to deal with. They supplied accurate progress and realistic time frames on their work. Corey's communication was great and nothing seemed to be too hard or too much trouble. The workmanship was awesome and the finished build is something to be proud of. The CWB team were also a very professional unit, helpful and considerate. Corey and the Team at CWB Construction took on the build of our new home overlooking Stanmore Bay. As a Draughtsperson myself the design was always going to be a little different from the norm and i'm pleased CWB were on board with the design. Using commercial construction methods like precast flat slab floors and new products like XLAM Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) roof panels may have been off putting for most companies but CWB were the right team for our job. I had always wanted to be "hands on" with the project and had arranged much of the unusual products myself and Corey was flexible with that and offered his expertise where necessary. The rest of the CWB team were all easy to work with even having the Owner working onsite alongside them didn't cause to much of a drama. I've learned a great deal from the experience of building with CWB and while other factors delayed the actual completion of the job Corey has kept in contact to see we are getting there and happy to answer any queries we had. In the end i think our home would not have suited most builders and could have been a very difficult process, with CWB the process was easy and we achieved an icon on the coast!

I wanted to write to you and thank you for the excellent job you have done on the new bathrooms at Settlers Grove, Orewa. This project has been waiting quite some time for the right Builder to come along and we are very grateful that it was you and CWB Construction.This small residential project involved turning one bathroom into two (one of which is en-suite to the Master Bedroom), whilst ensuring the house was able to be lived in throughout. This involved some careful programming, whilst also dealing with the inevitable discoveries inherent in an alteration to an existing property.
You probably have a better understanding now of just how particular we are about finished quality and it is a measure of the fine work you have done that we are very satisfied with the two beautiful new bathrooms - they are a real credit to your own standards and your ability to get the best from your sub-contract team. These two lovely rooms will provide pleasure for all who use them for many years to come.
We want to record our gratitude for the very accurate quote you prepared for the work and the fair and reasonable way you have administered the contract and charged for the additional scope that was necessary.

We employed the services of Corey and CWB Construction Ltd in 2013 to build our home in Riverhead. Highly recommended builder. The owner Corey Woodward was referred to us at very short notice to build our home, almost 5,000 sq ft. Corey would in my opinion rate as the best trades person we had on this job, keeping an eye out for us, re other trades people, very knowledgeable, excellent workmanship, forward thinking, taking the time to work things out, helpful, honest and not one single problem that normally occurs when building. We are very proud of our home and our thanks to Corey for the effort he and his staff put into our home.

We chose CWB Construction for an extensive addition to our home. This included a new master bedroom, ensuite, walk in wardrobe, new entry, dining room, decks, railing and stairs, partial reclad of existing walls, new double glazed windows throughout and new a roof.
We found Corey and his team to be excellent tradesmen, with great work ethic and I noted that they have good timeliness, and can be relied upon to turn up on time, we found them to be completely trustworthy given that they were often left in the house unattended.
